The exhibition got bumped back an hour as did our dance time. We danced at 7 but got there at 4:30. So by the time ended around 830 or 9 of course we were starving. But the nerves made me forget until after the performance which was good. Overall I think we did pretty well, but all that effort went into one dance, I can't imagine what it will be like this Friday with FIVE dances to do.
Also, just my luck, the one day we have the performance and it matters to be like really happy and smiling, I get some type of stomach bug. It started the day before and it made me feel nauseous and just all over horrible. I still feel kinda sick but today, as I write this, we leave for one of our included excursions! It's off to Sukkothai. I am up so early because again with just my luck my bathroom is broken, and the repairmen came yesterday morning at 9am but still were not finished and have to come back again this morning at 9am. I guess workmen in Thailand are the same as America, slow and steady. So I have been wandering the halls knocking on the other American doors in order to borrow their bathrooms and take quick showers and use a working toilet. Luckily this weekend we go to Sukkothai so I get to have a working bathroom, or at least I think so...
Bonus is that I have to wear my uniform, for the first time as well. But this place we are going is even hotter than Chiang Mai. I am talking a low of 100 degrees.... I'll update you when I return.
Second time dancing, some late comers wanted to see it so we did it with live music which was much slower and threw us off a little.
One of many entire group shots!

Wow, I mean, Wow!!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous :-) That must've been a blast. Nice job!
How big was the audience? Can't wait to see the pictures for Friday's performance.
Aww thanks! I was beyond nervous for it, and the costumes are crazy detailed to put on.
