Last Surprise!

While in Thailand I got a tattoo! I was able to keep it hidden until I returned home to tell my family in person. So after everyone has been notified I can now share with the internet world! What do you think? 

Surprise Filled Night

So the other night, my roommate's last night before she left for Cambodia on a family trip, she took me to the   campus market as a last night adventure.

Here is where it got even more interesting. It had started to barely sprinkle while we were walking through the market and so my roommate suddenly says that we should leave right now. Of course since she knows the weather better than I do, I agree, with a bit of disappointment because I wanted to continue shopping! 

So we head back to the apartment, as we get to the door, I grab the handle, but was surprised because I could have sworn that I locked the door before we left. Well inside the room, the whole group, Thai and American, were waiting with two superman cakes for me! My roommate organized a surprise birthday party for me because she knew my birthday was Saturday. It was the sweetest thing ever! I never suspected anything, and usually it is impossible to hide something from me. But I was genuinely surprised, my first thought seeing everyone in the dark with candles glowing was that someone broke into my apartment and was trying to burn it down hahaha.

 Oh this was the superman at the market my roommate suggested I take a picture with, little did I know that it would be a superman themed night!

Roaming around Chiang Mai
